CIVIL ENGINEERING CAD TECHNICIAN


French & Associates is seeking an experienced Drafting/Civil 3D CAD Technician to join our team*. This person will collaborate with the Project Manager and Project Engineer to prepare Civil Engineering and Landscape Architectural documents to ensure project specifications are met according to industry standards and best practices. Document preparation will include the following:

  • Demolition Plans

  • Site Plans

  • Site Grading & Drainage Plans

  • Storm & Sanitary Sewer Plans & Profiles

  • Civil Details

  • Erosion Control Plans

  • Erosion Control Details

  • Landscape Plans & Details

  • Hardscape Plans & Details


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must be strongly proficient in civil engineering documentation with at least three years of experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D software, Microsoft Word, and Photoshop. Applicants should be able to communicate, understand, and generate documents with complex detail and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Salary will be based on experience.

  • $5,000 sign-up bonus with a two-year commitment

*Remote work may be possible depending on the level of experience and understanding of the industry and expectations. The applicant must be willing to travel to Columbus initially, for a period of orientation, then occasional travel to Columbus will be needed for more complex project briefings and special meetings. Overnight stay, when necessary, will be accommodated at the expense of the company.
