EDWARD L. FRENCH

Landscape Architect, RLA, CLARB

Mr. French’s background in master planning, site engineering and landscape architecture is combined with extensive experience in all phases of development, construction and design implementation. His principal role for French & Associates focuses on master planning, civil engineering, landscape architecture, storm water management and water quality as well as construction administration. Additional experience in large river hydrology and hydraulics was gained with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, Mobile District, Mobile, Alabama, as a design professional on the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway Project. 

Over the past forty years, Mr. French has served as Principal in Charge for the company's most prestigious commissions, including the United States Naval Academy Athletic Facilities Master Plan, Annapolis, Maryland, Washington Redskins Stadium at Fed-Ex Park, Raljon, Maryland, National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center, Columbus, Georgia, Virginia Tech Lane Stadium Field Renovation, Blacksburg, Virginia, Auburn University Women’s Softball Stadium, Auburn, Alabama, 1996 Olympic Softball Venue, Columbus, Georgia, Auburn University College of Agriculture Campus Master Plan, Auburn, Alabama, West Jordan Municipal Square, West Jordan, Utah, Jensen Ranch New Town Development, Fredonia, Arizona, The Canyons Facility, St. George, Utah, Maryland Soccerplex, Germantown, Maryland,   Virgin River Trail System and Visitors Center, National Park Service, Grand Canyon National Monument, Arizona.

Along with these projects, Mr. French has also been involved with numerous other F&A projects to include Gulf State Park Hotel and Conference Center Master Plan, Gulf Shores, Alabama, Columbus Chattahoochee River White Water Venue, Columbus, Georgia, Columbus Chattahoochee RiverWalk, Columbus, Georgia, St. Bernard Prep and Abbey Master Plan, Cullman, Alabama,  14th Street Pedestrian Bridge, Columbus, Georgia. Having provided AFLAC with design services for over thirty years, Mr. French also oversees all AFLAC projects
