Providing the Greater Chattahoochee Valley with vital healthcare options, Valley Healthcare is located in Columbus, Georgia. In the early stages of conceptual design, it was clear that the client was very interested in creating an environmentally-sensitive design which catered to both children’s play as well as adults with memory loss. To fulfill the owner’s desires, French & Associates focused the drainage system around rain gardens and bioinfiltration systems and crafted a "therapy garden space" that serves the special needs of  adults with dementia, while remaining enjoyable to children.
